Very special place. Right by the waterfront, in a gorgeous historical building, a very stylish restaurant with an open garden/ yard was a total surprise for us in Paramaribo. Spacious seating so you are never disturbed by other guests.A separate bar area is at the front which is open few hours longer that the restaurant itself.Delicious cocktails.Service was top notch, provided by friendly and professional staff that obviously receive a lot of training.Kitchen is open, adding to western way of transparency where your food is coming from.Ambiance was calm, modern yet relaxed. Definitely recommend!

Amazing food and very interesting how Indonesian food is mix with Banana which is from Latin America, also the dish did have three kind of fried rice and chicken

Great restaurant for having dinner. Feels like a renovated historic building. Service was good. Waitress explained the plates. We had access to soup and salad because we order main dishes. The infrastructure is super nice and there was an scenario with live music. Restaurant is very neat

Fantastic food, in a very nice place, with great service. We had "Masala Chicken" and "Rice with our famous Surinamese dish 'Pom'".

It was hot and lunch time. I saw a sign that read “lunch is more than a meal” so I went in. It was nice discovery. The restaurant is in what appears to be a renovated colonial building with a courtyard and nicely done interior. A few other folks were having lunch.The server was very helpful. The soda was really cold, exactly what I needed on this hot day.I had the fish in red sauce and it was amazing. I really enjoyed it. The taste was yummy and the quantity was good. I found the price to be good too.Overall, I had a very good experience here and my server was polite and professional as well. Highly recommended.

I just had the best night with my friends. Good food, good mood, best cocktails in town. The building where the restaurant is located holds so much history. The building is kept well. I think its the best food i had in paramaribo. See pictures.

Absolutely delicious food, friendly staff and very attentive. Reasonably priced, good vibes, lively music, just a good atmosphere. The cocktails are also really good. Recommend the waag margarita.
